H.L. WITHIN THY WOUNDS' underground black or white metal belongs to the most atmospheric variations within this genre. And believe me, the impact and intensity is the same. No matter if the lyrics are about the Divine Master or the Master of Hell: You cannot catch a word anyway. So, both tracks are excellent. And also Daygraves perform atmospheric black metal, maybe more modern or post-black metal oriented but nonetheless touching and effective! A highly recommended split release! Favorite track: Hymn to the Divine Master.

I picked this up a few years ago, at a time when I really needed an album like this. To this day it is still something that I love to play beginning to end and feel every second of it. Such a amazing expression of humbling yourself lyricwise mixed with the most unique style of Black Gaze I've ever heard. billyspears
